Cookies and IP Addresses Collected by this Website

At present, my website does not use cookies (files which are sent by Yumi Yoga to your computer or other access device). Should this change, I will update this notice and and notification will appear advising you about the use of cookies when you access my website.  My system does collect your device’s IP address as part of the basic functioning of my website. This is to allow the website to function properly and to collect anonymous information about how my website is used, through Google Analytics.

Personal Data Collected at time of booking Yumi Yoga Classes

A certain amount of personal data is collected by Yumi Yoga at the time of booking. This is for the purposes of meeting Insurance Company criteria as well as for your health and safety at yoga.  Health information is also used to tailor sessions to suit your individual needs.

All information gathered by Yumi Yoga through the online booking process, is treated as confidential and will not be shared with a third party. It is kept securely in the BookWhen online booking system (see their Privacy Policy https://bookwhen.com/privacy), and only viewed by Claire Moon (teacher and owner of Yumi Yoga).  You may update or correct your account information any time by logging in to your BookWhen account (https://bookwhen.com/home) and changing your account and profile settings.  To change your email preferences contact me Claire Moon at Claire@yumiyoga.co.uk

Occasionally information is submitted by paper form.  Your paper form will be kept securely by Yumi Yoga for seven years after your last class with me as determined by my insurance company.  If you wish to alter any of your data, review how it is used or wish to request its return to you, please contact Claire Moon on Claire@yumiyoga.co.uk or 07957 204.

You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information to Yumi Yoga, in which Yumi Yoga may not be able to provide certain services to you.

How I use your Contact Information

When booking either online, or on paper, you will be asked to fill in a booking form / health form. In doing so you are agreeing to your email and phone number being used by Yumi Yoga to inform you of class changes, service updates directly relating to the service you have booked.

You may, of course, decline to submit your email and phone number to Yumi Yoga, which in some cases may mean that Yumi Yoga is not be able to provide certain services to you.  If you do not wish to submit your email, and therefore are unable to book online, you can book your class by contacting me on Claire@yumiyoga.co.uk or 07957 204177.

Yumi Yoga Mailing List

Direct marketing emails informing you of new, future or alternative services I am providing are sent to you via gmail.  When you purchase a service from me via BookWhen you will be asked on your on your booking form if you give consent to join the Yumi Yoga mailing list. If you give permission, you will be added to the mailing list and will be able to opt out at any time by contacting Claire Moon on Claire@yumiyoga.co.uk or 07957 204177.

Phone Numbers

I may, from time to time, use your phone number to contact you about urgent class changes or to inform you if a waiting list place has become available. I will only do this if you have booked the class in question, or added yourself to the waiting list. If you do not wish me to contact you in this way, please inform me in person or by emailing Claire@yumiyoga@gmail.co.uk

Emergency Contact Information

Emergency Contact information is collected solely for use in an emergency, should Yumi Yoga need to contact your next of kin or give this information to the emergency services. This is the only information that would be shared with a third party, and only in the context of an emergency.
